Who am I?
Am I the body or the mind?

The first thing to consider is that the knower is different from that which is known.
What the eye sees is different from the object that it sees.
Therefore the eye is the knower and the object that it sees is the known.

But we know that what we see is interpreted by the brain or mind so the mind is the knower and the eye is the known as we are aware of the eye.

So we are aware or conscious of the mind observing the eye, which in turn is observing the scene.
But we are also conscious of the mind so there must be some other knower which observes or is aware of the mind.
What is that?
That is the ultimate Consciousness.
